Under 10 Division 1
League with 4 well matched decent teams is close at the top. Grindon played Lambton St in the game of the day. Grindon went 3-0 up quite quickly with a rapid fire start. Lambton slowly got back into the game bringing the game level. Score stayed like this till last 10 minutes where it was end to end, Grindon scoring and Lambton equalising, nip and tuck with plenty of goal mouth scrambles, great for the neutral. This exciting game ended in a draw which makes for an great end to the league. They play each other again 1/3 in last game of season.
Under 10 Division 2
8 teams in this division with Puma Futsal AllStars top played Pro-motiv8 in a tight game. P8 ran out winners by 2 goals with a little bit of quality being the difference in the two teams. League is all about improving and learning. The P8 team is made up of U9 players from Ryhope who also play in U9 league on Fridays. They are certainly coming on from playing older bigger stronger kids in this division.
